We are passionate about showing the versatility of this incredible breed, and we regularly participate with our dogs in AKC and UKC Obedience/Rally, Therapy Work, Scent Work, Agility, and more!

We are active members of the Umpqua Kennel Club and Pomsky Owners Association, as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the American Pomsky Kennel Club. We are also certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

Our dogs are raised in home, surrounded by other animals as well as humans of all ages. As the owners of a commercial dog boarding/daycare facility by day, our dogs are frequently able to interact with a variety of dogs and people. They join us as demo dogs for training classes and “safe” dogs for meet-and-greets.

When it comes to breeding, we do not take this responsibility lightly. Our dogs are NOT “designer dogs.” For thousands of years, dogs have been selected and bred for specific traits, and we understand that this work never stopped! New breeds are recognized EVERY YEAR (AKC has recognized 22 new breeds in the past ten years alone), and many of them have only been in development for a few decades! Just like the breeds before them, the Arctic Spitz serves a purpose. Combining the humor, sociability and intelligence of the Siberian Husky with the affectionate and adaptable Pomeranian creates a truly unique dog that is incredibly social yet loyal, smart, biddable, adaptable, and (of course) beautiful! Add in the structural benefits of the American Eskimo and their size and traits make them an ideal companion for today’s families in all living situations and of all activity levels!

Long before breeding occurs, our dogs are DNA and OFA (Hips/Elbows/Patellas/Cardiac/Eyes) tested. We also place a significant emphasis on temperament, and our dogs are tested for this as well. We want all of these results to be easily accessible to you, and so we include links on our Sire/Dam pages.

Our puppies are raised with the Puppy Culture protocol, as well as Early Scent Introduction. This means that the first 8-10 weeks that they are with us are purposefully designed to provide them with experiences that will create confident, well-adjusted dogs. They are regularly groomed and introduced to a variety of household objects (everything from the vacuum to balloons to high heels, etc!). We start the potty training process around 2-3 weeks of age using artificial turf, and then transfer that knowledge to grass once they come of age to venture outside. We begin crate training so that your pup always has a safe space. We spend hours each day making sure that each puppy has plenty of one on one attention, and we document this time on our social media (Feel free to follow us on Facebook or Instagram) so that you can be a part of it!

Puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks using the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test, and officially matched after that point! By waiting to match puppies with homes until we’ve completed these important evaluations, we give our puppies and their homes the best chance of success. All of our puppies are sent to their new homes with our one-of-a-kind Puppy Package, as well as breeder support for a lifetime. We stand by our dogs!
